Toxic Relationship?

Updated: Aug 28, 2020

You Deserve Better!

No one gets into a relationship thinking it will turn out bad, however, a relationship that once seemed like heaven on earth can turn into a living hell. Although people hold onto toxic relationships for a number of reasons, refusing to let go of a toxic relationship is like taking a daily dose of poison. No matter how much you cry, wish things were different, or try and make it work, things stay the same or get worse. You deserve better. Life was meant to be enjoyed and every day you spend with a toxic person is a day of your life that is wasted. I know its hard to let go of relationships because we put so much into it.  Once you’re aware that a relationship is no longer serving you, or is causing you emotional or physical pain, it’s time to go. Below are four signs its time to let go of a toxic relationship:

1. The bad outweighs the good. If you cry more then you smile, that’s a sign that something is seriously wrong. A relationship should add joy to our life, not sorrow.

2. You’ve outgrown the person. If a person is unwilling to grow you cannot change them. You need someone for where you’re going. Don’t let anyone keep you stuck.

3. Their actions don’t match their words. A person can tell you everything you want to hear, but if they don’t make good on their promises they are a liar. The person for you will be honest, consistent, and trustworthy.

4. They always cause issues. If your partner causes problems and never creates solutions, then that’s not the person for you. The one for you will not cause you constant headaches and heartbreak. They will refresh you an bring you peace. Don’t let an immature man keep you stuck and waste your life away. Please move one.
